I´m looking for varieties of chickpeas which can be grown in a arid area like UAE. Please advice. If you have some papers about the subject growing leguminous in arid climates pls send me a link for download. It is for my PhD work. Thank you very much in advanced.

Hello!

I did a story on UG99 a couple of years ago (for Ag News a publication for farmers and ranchers in 8 western US states)and wantted to do a followup piece. Can you tell about the status of UG99? i.e., Has it been contained or controlled? Is it still moving along the projected routes from a few years ago and a threat to global food supply?

Thank you for your quick reply. I was unable to get too far on the Internet. All the articles there seem to be quite outdated.
